1. Overview
With

2. How Does It Work?
2.1 Settings
Please go to Stores ⇒ Configuration ⇒ Magehq Extensions ⇒ SMTP.
In Enabled: choose Yes to enable the module
In Enable Email Debug: choose Yes to enable the email debug
In Clear Logs After X Days: Clear all email logs after these days
In Sending Failed Warning After X Times: Trigger notification of sending failed after these times.
In Order: Enable/Disabled to insert log for order related emails
In Customer: Enable/Disabled to insert log for customer related emails
In Newsletter: Enable/Disabled to insert log for newsletter related emails
In Contact Us: Enable/Disabled to insert log for contact us related emails
In SMTP Provider: Select from pre-defined SMTP servers
In Hostname: Support Hostname or IP Address
In Port: Default Ports: 25, 465, 587, Port 465 (SSL Required), Port 587 (TLS Required)
In Username: enter usename.
In Password: enter password.
In Protocol: Secure Connection: SSL or TLS
In the Authentication field: This is a field that enables you to choose the authentication method. There are 3 methods:
- Login: Authentication by login to the account through Username and Password that will be filled in the next field. Most of providers will require this method.
- Plain
- CRAM-MD5
In the Send Test Email: This is a field for you to test the operation of the extension.
- Send From: Admins can choose one of the five Email Sender of Magento.
- Send To: Allow entering the email address that admins want to test the email.
- To test the email, you need to fill the email address in the
Send To
field, then clickTest Now
button.
In Developer Mode:
- Yes: Magento will not deliver any email to the receiver
- No: Magento will deliver email to the receiver
